Wonderful solution, but: A current problem that I am encountering is after the feature have been activated, and another user group is created, the feature fails to work. I cannot access my list views and my workaround is saving the list as a template and redoing the view permissions. Though, the problem persists when a new group is added.

The View Permission Tool solves just the problem to set different views deopending from the role/permission level.

Implemented this on wss 3.0 and it worked perfectly. I am not using it in a commercial environment, but playing around to learn more about sharepoint. The instructions were easy to follow and the installation completed without any issues. Not sure what whent wrong for the other users rating this component, but I will definately be recommending this to me friends. Great stuff!

I have followed allthe instructions given and am unable to even get it to show anywhere on the site. I cannot use it even though it says you can on Sharepoint services 3.0

The solution does not install as described, also it gives a lot of error (when installing it and uninstalling it). No solution is given on the errors. It is a great and helpfull idea but it is worthless if it does not work.

Whenever i deploy this on my server, all the toolbars are disappeared. Can anyone please tell me the solution of this? I really need this feature. I have two SharePoint Servers. On one it is working and on other it makes all the toolbars disappear.
